Research interests: Comparative research into reading and spelling development. Orthographic system acquisition of the Germanic and Romance languages. Developmental disorders of oral and written language (SLI and dyslexia).

Dr Alamargot (formerly Université de Poitiers) is currently at Paris VIII - Cité des Sciences.

Research Interests: Cognitive processes in written language production. Eye movements of the writer – using the "Eye and Pen" tracker device.

Kathleen had an Experienced Researcher fellowship, working on Workpackage 6.

Research interests: Multilingual (English, French, Spanish) psycholinguistics, including language acquisition, competence, and eye movements during reading and written production.

Carmen Paduraru – ESR 

Carmen had an Early Stage Researcher fellowship, working on Workpackage 6.

Research Interests:  Reading Comprehension and written Production; Language Acquisition and Language Development; Language Change; Language Policies and Linguistic Human Rights; Non-Indo-European Languages. Carmen has taken up a PhD studentship at the Max Planck Institute for Psycholinguistics, Nijmegen, NL.

Research interests: The role of positional letter information in orthographic representations. Reading ability acquisition. Eye-movements and ERP in reading and writing. Ascen is currently completing a PhD at University of Southampton.
